A Gift Store Built Around Old Growth Trees

The Cedar Tree, the largest gift shop in Glacier, is definitely a sight to see. It’s located in Apgar Village near the edge of Lake McDonald, two miles north of West Glacier. The store was constructed with an effort to preserve the old growth cedar trees on site. Two of the Trees grow through the building forming the centerpiece in this natural wonder of a store.

Here you’ll find a large selection of apparel for all ages, made-in-Montana arts and gifts, Pendleton Woolens, books, mugs, huckleberry products, toys and other treasures worth taking home (or having shipped).

The Cedar Tree is open mid-May through the end of September.
