Our playground is Glacier National Park; scenic wonders and hiking excursions abound! Enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, whitewater rafting, and bicycling. There's even an 18-hole golf course just one mile from the Village.
We are a seasonal business and operate late May through September and employ approximately 180 staff members at peak season.
We are located at the West entrance to Glacier National Park in the Rocky Mountains. Summer temperatures range from 60 ° to 80°. Early spring and late fall are cool and sometimes damp and it�s best to layer your clothing and be prepared for any type of weather.

Please be aware our location is remote and public transportation is not available. During the summer you will be expected to arrange your own transportation if you wish to travel anywhere outside our village. We have a grocery store in West Glacier but the prices are higher than traveling to town to shop.
We are a conservative company and have personal appearance and dress code requirements. Some departments have specific uniforms which are supplied.
We hire workers with RVs and have spaces available in our own facility within walking distance to the Village. Earn wages for all hours worked. RV space rent is $30 per week. Please note we do not have positions for camp hosts.
We have limited dormitory style housing (for full-time employees) which costs $30 per week and deducted from the employee's paychecks. Each housing unit has two or more roommates. There is a common living area and kitchen in each facility. Each unit has basic furniture, kitchen utensils, dishes, pans, etc. Employees are responsible for their own meals. We do not have co-ed units. The dorms do not have telephones, televisions or internet. Some basic cleaning supplies are provided.
All employees receive a 20% discount in our restaurant, gift shops and grocery store on some non-food items. Employees can also purchase bear pepper spray at half price.
What to Bring
Each bed is twin size and you will need to bring your own bedding and pillow. Most people bring twin flat sheets and blanket or a sleeping bag.
Towels- Toiletries- Warm and Cold weather clothing- Alarm Clock- combination/padlock for your personal lock box. And don't forget your camera.
Paydays are every other week on Fridays. We will be able to cash your check starting late June; if you start work early season bring enough cash or traveler's checks until then. We also have direct deposit available. ATM machine is located in the Village.
You will need to provide 2 forms of documentation (unless you have a passport) regarding your eligibility to work in the United States. The documents must be original copies, not photocopies or faxed identification. Your job offer packet will include a list of acceptable IDs.
West Glacier Village has a coin operated laundry within walking distance from the dorms.
Communication in West Glacier Village
Cell service is good with Verizon being the best. We offer all housed employees internet service in the Human Resource building five days a week - hour each day. If you have wireless-ready computers you may be granted Wi-Fi access for appropriate use during non-working hours and in appropriate locations. Our satellite service is within the Village area only and is not accessible at the dorm units.
Pay phones are available in West Glacier and Apgar Village. We sell pre-paid phone cards at the grocery store.
Arriving and Departing
If arriving by plane you must fly into Kalispell, Glacier Park International (FCA). If arriving by train you can travel right to West Glacier Village- Belton depot however this stop does not allow more than two carry-on bags. If you travel to the Whitefish depot, which is located approximately � hour from West Glacier, checked baggage is allowed. You can also travel by bus to Kalispell or Whitefish.
